Every so often, the calendar gives way to the unluckiest day of the year: Friday, The 13th. This year, it’s an even more rare occurrence when Friday the 13th falls in the month of October, the scariest month of them all. Assuming you make it through the day without a black cat crossing your path or breaking a mirror in exchange for seven years bad luck, it’s a perfect day to watch movies about others who were not so lucky.
1. Friday the 13th

Death refuses to take no for an answer when a group of teenagers managed to slip its grasp. When the group deboards a plane to Paris after one of them has a scary premonition, they watch the airplane go down in flames but the “lucky” survivors quickly learn that death will stop at nothing to ensure their fate. 5. I Know What You Did Last Summer

Two girls are kidnapped while on holiday by an escaped convict and his crew and are tortured and left for dead.
