Not to be confused with her 1980s Golden Globe-winning sketch comedy show The Tracey Ullman Show, the British comedian is returning for a second season of her latest sketch comedy show, Tracey Ullman’s Show, next month.
Tracey Ullman’s Show takes sketch comedy to the next level as its Emmy and Golden Globe-winning namesake takes on various roles of regular people going through daily life in England, including Kay and her overbearing mother, who were favorites from season one.
Also returning this season are several famous faces dealing with everyday life, including Ullman’s versions of Dame Judi Dench, who, in one scene, finds herself being ridiculed for throwing her dog’s bag of feces into a tree, and Germany’s Prime Minister Angela Merkel. New to the show this season will be her comedic take on the home life of Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch and competes in a rap battle for the soul of an inner-city estate.
Six 30-minute episodes round out the new season, which is set to return on October 20. Watch the full first season on HBO on-demand now.
