If you’re anything like us, July means two things: fun summer outings and more importantly, Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. This annual event – which is also TV’s longest-running summer event – gives you another way to enjoy the summer as sharks get ready to invade television screens with bigger and better stories (and teeth!) from Sunday, July 28 at 8 p.m. EST through Sunday, August 4.
With a Sling Blue subscription ($25 per month), you can catch every minute of Shark Week action on Discovery Channel. If you’re a new Sling customer, you can sign up for a Sling Blue subscription for just $15 for the first month of service.
With more than 20 hours of shark-centric programming throughout the week, including 18 brand-new specials, Discovery Channel’s 31st Shark Week will serve up a look into the mysterious world of the shark like we’ve never seen before. This year’s lineup includes specials like “Legend of Deep Blue” or “Shark Trip: Eat. Prey. Chum,” starring comedian Rob Riggle, who returns to Shark Week for a second year after taming sharks with Shaq in 2018.
If you’re a Sling Blue subscriber, you can also check out specials like “Mayne vs. Shark,” featuring famed illusionist Andrew Mayne, “Sharks of the Badlands,” which will dive deep with the sharks of New Zealand, and “Tiger Shark Island,” giving you a front row seat into the underwater world off the coast of Australia.
