Fight-night coverage of boxing star Manny Pacquiao’s next face-off is coming to live TV in the U.S. (no pay-per-view fees!) for the first time since 2005. Boxing fans are split: will Pacquiao be victorious over opponent Jeff Horn, or will Horn pull off one of the biggest sporting upsets of all time? You won’t want to miss the 3.5 hour live, prime-time telecast – available on Sling TV. Anyone with a Sling Orange subscription will have access to the fight, airing Saturday, July 1 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. And, Sling Orange customers with the Best of Spanish TV Extra can get access to the fight in Spanish on ESPN Deportes.
Since “The Fight of the Century” with Floyd Mayweather in May 2015, Pacquiao has gone two-for-two in his latest fights. Horn, who will be fighting in his hometown of Brisbane, Australia, is up against his toughest opponent yet. ESPN’s coverage of the “Battle of Brisbane” will begin with coverage of the Pacquiao-Horn weigh-in on “SportsCenter” at 7 p.m. on June 30. The main event preview can be streamed live on Sling July 1 at 9 p.m. ET, followed by the Pacquiao-Horn fight at 10 p.m. ET. Sling Orange customers with the Best of Spanish TV Extra may view the Battle of Brisbane in Spanish on ESPN Deportes, as well as watch rebroadcasts of classic fights on Friday and Saturday, including some of Pacquiao’s biggest match-ups.
