Watch the Royal Wedding on Sling TV

How to Watch the Royal Wedding on Sling TV

It’s almost time! You’ve found the perfect fascinator and the quaintest tea set imaginable, and you can practically smell the lemon and elderflower cake already. The only things left to do are set your alarm + coffeemaker (‘cause this is happening early) and decide which channel you’ll watch the royal wedding on. Most coverage begins Saturday morning at 4am ET; the ceremony starts at 7am ET.

Best ways to watch live with Sling TV:

BBCA Royal Wedding

BBC America

Available in both Sling Orange and Sling Blue base packs, BBC America has already begun its nonstop “Royal Wedding Week” programming (don’t worry, though: Killing Eve will be back with a new episode Sunday). Between now and Saturday, you can relive past royal weddings and watch special featurettes about the lives of the blue-blooded. Then, on Saturday, BBC America will simulcast BBC One’s coverage of the ceremony, so if your vision board is entitled “Authentic English Viewing Party” and hats are *absolutely* required, then BBC America should be your go-to.

CNN Royal Wedding

Breaking news: Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, and Alisyn Camerota will be anchoring CNN’s coverage of the big day. Here’s hoping the champagne flows as freely as tequila shots on New Year’s, because “Drunk Don Lemon” is the wedding gift the internet registered for back in 2017. If you plan to place bets on which anchor is most likely to get a piercing or an “It Should Have Been Me” tattoo, then CNN is the choice for you (available in Sling Orange and Sling Blue).

E! Royal Wedding

Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, and Sarah-Jane Crawford will host E! Live from the Royal Wedding for five hours of gushing over one undoubtedly spectacular dress beginning at 5am ET. Whether you live for fashion or you just want to watch Giuliana nervously explain to viewers that her own dress is cream, not white, while advising them to adjust their TV’s color settings, then E! (available in Sling Blue + Lifestyle Extra) is for you.

HBO Royal Wedding

If you’re a West Coaster who has to pull an all-nighter to watch, then Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon hosting in character as Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan is HBO’s special treat just for you, beginning at 4:30am PT / 7:30am ET. Will there be corgis? Bagpipes? An inordinate abuse of the word fanny? Most likely, without a doubt, and yes, definitely. Thankfully sleep deprivation makes everything extra funny, and you can still nap before the next episode of Westworld airs Sunday. Add HBO to your subscription and laugh along.

NBC Royal Wedding

No strangers to waking up early, Todays Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb lead NBC’s coverage of the Olympics of weddings starting at 4:30am ET (sadly, Leslie Jones has another commitment Saturday, namely wrapping up this season of SNL). NBC is available to Sling Blue subscribers living in select markets.

Don’t miss the royal wedding LIVE this Saturday on Sling TV!
